Successful candidates will have a particular specialism but will also have a robust overall knowledge of the Highway Design field.
Location: Birmingham - remote working available, with travel to the office
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £40k - £50k
Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer, you'll be working within the Highways team. The main purpose of this role is to deliver designs that are buildable and sustainable.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing small teams of Engineers to deliver projects in accordance with the clients brief
- Managing project related correspondence with all stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, particularly the CDM Regulations
Who are we looking for?
This role of Senior Engineer is great for you if have:
- Significant experience in the detailed design of highway related projects
- Degree in Civil Engineering and professional membership of the ICE or similar. Or working towards professional status
- A thorough knowledge of Highways England Design Manuals and Specifications
