We're looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our team based in Norwich. Within this role, you can enjoy remote working, progression opportunities, the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects of all sizes and complexities, and even more.

Location: Norwich, Norfolk- remote working available

Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible/part-time hours may be available if desired, we'll do our best to support you

Salary: circa £27k per annum depending on experience

Responsibilities

We are looking for a Health & Safety Coordinator to join our Utilities team working on our alliance with Anglian Water on the IOS contract. As far as we are concerned, the safety, health and wellbeing of our people, our contractors and members of the public is paramount. We have a people-focused culture where co-operation and ownership are an integral part of the continual improvement and innovation.

We need you to work closely with the SHE Managers & Advisors to support the smooth running of the department by providing proactive and flexible administrative support and documentation services. Nothing is so urgent that we cannot take time to do it safely.

Your day to day will include:


  • Identify process and procedural improvement and implement these to enhance the services provided
  • Daily review to ensure accidents, incidents and near misses are managed according to set requirements as well as ownership of tracking RIDDOR accidents
  • Creating team reports, directories, trackers, control of referencing, numerical sequencing and revisions of SHE documentation
