We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in the Exeter region, working on our Network Services Alliance Developer Services Framework Contract for South West Water. Within this role we will provide you with a company car or cash allowance for travel. You can enjoy partial remote working, progression opportunities and even more!

Location: A mixture of our Exeter office and remote working, along with regular travel to office/ sites with a company car or cash allowance provided

Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible/ part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

In this role, you will be working on our Network Services Alliance Developer Services Framework Contract, delivering drinking water mains requisitions and diversions for South West Water.

As Quantity Surveyor, you will support the team, focusing on the larger planned diversions within the Framework.

Your day to day will include:

  • Procurement of subcontractors in line with our commercial standards, ensuring best value for Kier and our client
  • Accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting
  • Working with the operations team to ensure sound cost management
  • Submission of change management notifications under the NEC form of contract
  • Assist with month end reporting and ensure cash flow is maximised
Who are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:

  • You hold a degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying
  • Experience working with NEC form of contracts.
