Our client is a multinational developer and construction company working on major rail works in London. They are a global leader in buildings and infrastructure looking for a Health & Safety Manager with Network Rail or TfL experience to join the wider EHS Team. You will be joining an evolving project where the clients scope can change quickly, therefore, experience with a complex client is key.

As Health & Safety Manager you will support the Project Delivery Team in their role as client representatives with respect to the CDM Duty Holders responsibilities. You will also provide assistance to all personnel in order to ensure that the highest Health and Safety standards are maintained on the projects.

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate a working knowledge of the London Underground safety standard and the requirements of the OHS&E Management Systems.

Communicate with the Project Director and HS Lead to ensure that all accidents, dangerous occurrences and near misses are thoroughly reported, investigated and conclusions drawn as to how they can be prevented in the future. Assist the project teams in producing and maintaining all mandatory project documentation such as Construction Phase Plans and RAMS

The Health & Safety Manager will require a Construction related H&S qualification, NEBOSH Construction Certificate and be a Graduate Member of IOSH or equivalent. Working understanding of ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 Management systems standards is also key as is the ability to coach team members and project teams.
