We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Construction team based in Full Sutton. Within this role, you can enjoy working on exciting projects, progression opportunities, support in obtaining further qualifications and even more.

Location: Full Sutton, York

Contract: Full time, permanent

Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be supporting the MQS in producing value cost reconciliation reports and managing the contract administration both with the employers Project Manager, and with Kier's supply chain

Your day to day will include:

  • Producing and maintaining risk registers

  • Raising and responding to Early Warning Notices & Compensation Events and closing these out through agreement

  • Agreement of final accounts, managing subcontract package and subcontract procurement


Who are we looking for?

This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:

  • Previous experience on large commercial developments

  • HNC or above in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline

  • Previous experience of managing a team

  • Strong commercial acumen
