Responsibilities

As Estimator you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them with the control of costs, maximising value, minimising future liabilities and maintaining the required standard of quality and safety on a range of contracts.

Your day to day will include:
  • Maximising the ability of Kier services, to secure new business opportunities in line with the business plan objective
  • Managing all aspects of quoted works process to maximise revenue and operating profit, estimating the costs of projects to meet or exceed the client's requirements
  • Determining contractual, financial, technical and operational risks, finding opportunities to minimise risk

  • Demonstrate qualifications in a relevant subject or field
  • Display advanced estimating knowledge
  • Show commercial awareness having worked in similar environments
