Contract: Full time
Responsibilities
As Senior Quantity you'll be working within the commercial team, supporting them to increase value, reduce cost, drive profit and manage risk in a safe and ethical manner of the contracts they are working on.
Your day to day will include:
- Providing commercial input, including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team, helping to ensure that business targets and KPI's are exceeded
- Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for the area, together with a review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members, whilst assessing, reviewing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
- Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts and monitoring of such accounts against forecasts
This role of Senior Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you can:
- Demonstrate qualifications in a relevant subject or field
- Lead teams and have a track record of presenting reports and findings to senior stakeholders
- Show commercial awareness having worked in similar environments
