My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced civil site manager for a permanent contract

This is working for a well established civil engineering firm, based in Teesside but cover up to Berwick.

Salary is dependant on experience and is ranging from 42-52k per annum with additional benefits

Their work is varied and includes roads and sewers, infrastructure and commercial builds

Duties

Day to day management of site and operatives
Ensuring health and safety is adhered to
The Site Manager will be required to monitor progress of job against programme, ensuring relevant paperwork is up to date including risk assessments and method statements
Ordering of materials and plant
Monitoring and tracking costs
Liaising with clients, contractors and employees on a daily basis
Reporting directly into the contracts manager on a regular basis.

Requirements

SMSTS
Previous experience working as a Site Manager on Civil Projects and be able to provide references to validate this
Proof of right to work documents
First aid
Engineering background is highly desired
