Kier is looking for a Project Manager to join a highly successful team in the delivery of a large-scale Highways project, value circa £300m and 4 years construction. The role will then revert to delivery of A417 major project with an anticipated start date of Feb 2023. Location: South - remote at first but will be expected to work from the A417 site 5 days a week when spades to ground

Contract: Permanent, fulltime

Salary: up to £65k

Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you'll initially work at an early stage on the A417 and will be responsible for supporting the senior leadership team with the buildability, programme, phasing, forecasting and overseeing all early site works to facilitate the development of detailed design for the major project over the next 6-9 months.

Your day to day will include:
  • Manage quality inspection records on site in line with the quality plan.
  • Deliver works in line with Kier Health & Safety Management System and ensure Health & Safety
  • Environment legislation is complied with. Oversee the co-ordination of operatives, subcontractors and supplier in a planned and controlled manner ensuring efficiency and minimising costs

  • Come from a strong earthworks background with the ability to move between multiple disciplines, including but not limited to Highways, drainage, site clearance, structures
  • CSCS card
  • SMSTS
