The Estate Thoresby Estate is a traditional rural estate in north Nottinghamshire, spread across the villages of Budby, Perlethorpe, Edwinstowe and Laxton with over one hundred residential properties, 20 farmyards and commercial units including a number of listed buildings and two conservation areas. The Role Pierrepont Estates Management requires a Clerk of Works to assist with the care and maintenance of our property portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forward-looking business. You’ll join a friendly and professional team, passionate about Thoresby. Key responsibilities will include ensuring the compliance with all relevant standards and regulations of our property portfolio, carrying out post tenancy surveys, drawing up schedules of works, investigating property issues, preparing tenders for works and appointing contractors. In addition, the Clerk of Works will be responsible for managing our four person in house works team consisting of a team leader, joiner, plumber, and general workman and for recruitment of additional team members when required. The Candidate We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious candidate seeking a diverse and challenging role encompassing all aspects of property management. Good financial acumen, attention to detail, experience in relevant sectors and in delivering defined projects on time and on budget are essential. The Salary A competitive salary for the role will be offered commensurate with experience and qualifications.
