Contract & hours: Permanent, full time - Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Kier Places are recruiting now for a Site Manager in Hammersmith & Fulham to join our Housing Maintenance team on the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham contract, where you will be key to ensuring projects are safely delivered on time and to budget whilst achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Become a key member of the FRA & Compliance Planned Maintenance & Responsive Repairs Maintenance team today, delivering essential fire safety works, key compliance works, void refurbishment, and planned & responsive repairs maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
As a Site Manager with Kier Housing Maintenance, reporting directly to the Contract Manager, you will lead, manage, and develop a high performing well-motivated team onsite through effective leadership and communication, which will include an Assistant Site Manager, Resident Liaison Officers, Banksmen and Labourers and our supply chain delivery partners; and we'll trust you to use your operational expertise to ensure risks are identified and mitigated, whilst co-ordinating subcontractors & suppliers in a planned and controlled manner.
Collaboratively working closely with the Contract Managers, Site team & Quantity Surveyors, you will be managing projects ensuring all schemes are delivered safely and to the highest standard, within agreed costs, whilst ensuring the projects comply with current health & safety legislations, codes of practice, and building regulations are observed at all times by contractors.
What do we need from you?
The opportunity is yours for the taking, if you have - extensive experience in a site management role within the social housing / decent homes maintenance sector, with fire safety works activities in void & occupied properties.
You should have the ability & experience of leading and inspiring teams to achievement, excellent communication, organisational and influencing skills, and you should have SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid, and Asbestos Awareness certification.
