Master Planner Job in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

Master Planner job now available with a 5 -star housebuilder operating from its office in Cambridge.

This housebuilder currently employs over 700 people operating across 4 offices. The role would see you being responsible for managing design schemes and production of layout and masterplan drawings. Due to continued growth and new projects they are seeking a Master planner/Layout designer to join its team in Cambridge.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Managing multiple design schemes from feasibility layouts through the planning process
  • Compiling Layout, masterplans for individual projects, land acquisition and feasibility studies
  • Manage and support junior members of the design team
  • Work collaboratively with venture partners and stake holders
  • Coordinate with external consultants.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Architecture or construction degree - or equivalent
  • Charted status desirable
  • Experience in the production of large-scale master planning
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD and Photoshop is essential
  • Ability to use Revit is beneficial
  • Experience in working with a developer and standard house types is very desirable.

What you get back

  • Salary of £55,000 to £60,000
