We're looking for a Highways Maintenance Supervisor to join our Highways team based in Wellingborough. Responsibilities

As Highways Maintenance Supervisor you'll be working within the Delivery Team, supporting them delivering a wide range of local authority maintenance activities.

Your day to day duties will include:
  • Supporting with the effective delivery of highway maintenance works
  • Delivering daily briefings, toolbox talks and other safety critical information to both internal and supply chain personnel.
  • Undertaking visits to internal and supply chain personnel on site to ensure that they are working to Kier's standards and values whilst delivering high quality repairs across North Northamptonshire and liaising with the Delivery Team to report and discuss issues such as hazard spots, near misses and opportunities for improvement/best practice
Who are we looking for?

This role of Highways Maintenance Supervisor is great for you if you can:
  • Understand and implement Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and hold knowledge in Chapter 8 Traffic Signs Manual, SSSTS (Site Supervisors Safety Trainings Scheme) along with NRSWA Supervisor
  • Show a familiarity with material specifications and have highways maintenance experience and recognise maintenance programming
  • Bring commercial awareness and motivate the team and individuals to deliver a consistently high standard of works on site
