Senior Design Technician Job in Aberdeen, Scotland
I have a Senior Design Technician job available in Aberdeen with one of the UK largest timber companies. My client are looking for a number of timber Design technicians to strengthen their team in Scotland.
As the successful Senior Design Technician, you'll be working closely with the design team, mentoring and managing more junior members of the team. Ensuring that all designs are accurately produced and meet the agreed standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure designs meet the agreed standards
- Manage the team to ensure the delivery of the designs
- Ensure the accuracy of the design
- Manage project design variations
- Ensure customer service levels are kept to the highest standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of timber frame design
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Consultec, Mitek or similar
- Understanding of building practises and regulations such TRADA, STA, NHBC.
