We're looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Highways Major Projects team, working in collaboration with Highways England to deliver the A417 'Missing Link' project. You'll manage the day-to-day operation of the Integrated Quality Verification Team (IQVT) to ensure that appropriate inspections are carried out. Location: South - remote working at first but will be expected to work from the A417 site 5 days a week when spades to ground

Contract: Permanent, Fulltime

Salary: Up to £55k

Responsibilities

As a Quality Assurance Manager, you'll monitor production of assurance records in accordance with the programme to ensure that individual elements of work can be signed off as work progresses

Your day to day will include:
  • review inspection and test plans prior to work activities commencing
  • undertake audits and surveillances on activities and suppliers as necessary
  • undertake investigations into non-conformances to identify root causes and improvement actions and implement improvement initiatives as appropriate
  • provide accurate and timely data to feed into the project reporting
  • provide support to other members of the project team and the workforce to ensure that the project QMS is implemented correctly
