Location: We can offer the flexibility to work from home best based around Milton Keynes, with visits to site and offices.
Contract: Permanent - Full Time. Flexible and part-time hours may be available if desired, just let us know.
Salary: £30,000 50 £45,000 depending on experience + car or allowance (£4,500)
Responsibilities
As a SHE Advisor, you'll be working within the Source Design team, who supply Design expertise to not only Kiers internal departments but external clients as well. In this role you'll be supporting our site teams in ensuring safety standards are upheld and to advise Kier's employees on minimising and avoiding risks around their day-to-day work. Nothing is so urgent that we cannot take time to do it safely.
Your day to day will include:
- Actively promoting Safety, Health and Welfare, leading and setting a good example to other employees and stakeholders.
- Working closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and SHE responsibilities.
- Assisting the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
- Conduct regular and robust health and safety Inspections & Audits.
Who are we looking for?
This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if you:
- Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
- NEBOSH certificate in occupational health & safety
- Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g., IOSH, IEMA)
