Team Leader Building Surveyor
Location: Lincoln - This is an agile role where you will be based out of the Lincoln area, with home working available and some travel to other offices and sites.
Business area: Kier Construction - Design & Business Services
Contract: Permanent, full time or part time (We can offer this role as either full time or part time, please specify in your application).

We are now looking for a Team Leader Building Surveyor to join our growing Lincoln (Newland) team and undertake a wide range of projects encompassing education, blue light, commercial, healthcare, leisure and more!
Key Responsibilities
As the Team Leader Building Surveying, you will manage the local professional Building Surveyor team to deliver a project workload of primarily refurbishment and condition related Minor Works schemes with key client facing and financial management as well as reporting responsibilities. You will assist in managing the teams' workflow, contribute to the wider project to ensure the service needs are met and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Your expertise will contribute to delivering the building surveying projects to meet financial and time objectives, provide technical guidance to customers and colleagues, assist with bids and proposals, and assist in meeting the business development objectives whilst representing Kier to an industry leading standard.
What do we need from you?
You will be degree qualified or equivalent within a relevant field and have gained significant experience within a similar position. Ideally be accredited by RICS, however we do provide a structured training programme to support candidates who have yet to complete the APC. You will be confident in building relationships with clients, have a good understanding of Health and Safety/CDM regulations and have experience producing works specifications and 2D CAD drawings. Having an understanding of BIM and operational knowledge of REVIT would be advantageous.
