Job Title: Site Engineer Location: Alderney Business area: Infrastructure Major Projects Contract: Full Time, Permanent Salary: competitive + benefits


You will support the Section Engineer, supervise and monitor the technical compliance of the project to the design specification. You will manage the allocated work scope safely, to schedule dates, within budget allowances, to the required quality. Key Responsibilites
  • To be aware of the provisions of the Kier Safety, Health and Environmental Management System and to assist in its implementation to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances and checking the workforce understand the technical requirements.
  • Assist in the recording and testing of workmanship and materials, i.e. drainage, concrete, piling, brickwork etc and in the preparation of sketches for distribution on site, ensuring clear communication channels are in place for effective understanding.
  • ?To complete construction records and assist in the preparation of 'as-built'?drawings and schedules, enabling the progress of work to be reviewed against time, quality, dimensions and quantity.
What do we need from you?

  • Relevant qualification (NVQ L3 / HNC / Degree).
  • You will be part of a proactive, collaborative team to deliver the objectives of the department and company.
  • Experience on a major civil engineering scheme in a regulated environment.
