Senior Architectural Technician Job in Fareham, Hampshire

Our client has a Senior Architectural Technician job now available working as part of a practice working on a wide variety of residential projects. This role would suit a driven Architectural Technician who is looking to join a forward-thinking company at an exciting stage of growth in the business.

The practice in its few short years has already made an impact on the local market working on bespoke residential projects up to large-scale residential developments with some of the UK's leading developers.

The team is currently made up of 10 working across architecture, interiors, development, and planning. They offer a service that runs projects from concept to completion while offering a top-level service and product.

Due to continued success, they are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Production of technical drawing packages
  • Taking a project lead when required
  • Supporting junior members of the team
  • Working on preparing specifications, proposals, and applications
  • Using AutoCAD on a daily basis
  • Induction and preparation of work for potential partners and contractors
  • Looking at technical solutions project issues
  • Attending site.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of UK project experience
  • Experience with residential projects is essential
  • Confident in managing projects
  • Skilled in the use of AutoCAD is essential and Adobe and SketchUp experience is desirable
  • Strong technical skills with knowledge of UK building and planning policies
  • Comfortable speaking directly to clients
  • Driver's licence.
