Associate Architect job in West Sussex

Associate Architect job is currently available with a successful architectural and planning practice. This role would suit a business-focused Architect with experience in business development who is looking for a new role with huge potential and future growth.

This successful practice based near the Sussex /Hampshire border works across the life cycle of projects with its team of planners and architectural staff allowing them to offer a first-class service to its clients. The team mainly focuses on bespoke and small-scale residential developments in Sussex and Hampshire.

They are now in an exciting phase of business development and require an ambitious and motivated Associate Architect to join the team.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Running of projects across all RIBA stages
  • Working on the production design drawings
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities
  • Working to develop business strategies
  • Developing and managing a team - including recruitment
  • Taking a lead role in the day-to-day management of projects
  • Visiting sites.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Part III qualified with a minimum of 5 years UK experience
  • Experience in the design and management of UK residential projects is essential for the role
  • Possess strong design skills, ideally being able to showcase residential-based projects in a portfolio
  • A confident communicator who is happy to speak with clients
  • Proven experience in successful business development with the passion and drive to move the company forward in the UK architectural market
  • Experience in the management of a business and/or team management
  • Due to the need to visit sites, you will need your own transport.
