The Opportunity:

Our in-house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies, has a requirement for a mechanical engineer to join the team on a new Data Centre project in Dagenham.

The Project Description:

NTT LON1A is Data Centre Project that will see LOR constructing:

  • External gantries with MEP equipment (Generators, Electrical Switch-rooms, Mechanical Plant-rooms, Bulk Storage Tanks and Process Water Plant-rooms)
  • Internal works, including Data Halls Fit-out, MEP installation (Busbar, Chiller Water Systems, Fire Suppression and Detection Systems, BMS, ICT, etc.)
  • Building Works (internal walls, ceilings, flooring, WC fit-out, Steelwork, etc.)

What will the role look like?

  • Managing small Mechanical Packages
  • Creating Technical Submissions
  • Review/Comment/Approve Technical Drawings
  • Review/Comment/Approve RAMS
  • Help with managing Installation Quality
  • Lease with direct labour and manage supervisors

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Experience in a Data Centre environment beneficial
  • Technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of CHW/Process Water/Refrigeration systems/Ventilation HVAC/Public Health
  • Working knowledge of electrical LV/ELV systems
  • Working knowledge of electrical HV system would be beneficial
  • Able to create and review RAMS & H&S processes/documentation
  • Proactive and detail-minded
  • Approachable and collaborative
