A reputable and established Multi Disciplinary firm seeking an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to work on various projects in our Central London office.

My client is looking for an experienced building surveying professional with a minimum of 4 to 5 years' experience, ideally MRICS Chartered and with experience of working on various private and public projects.

The right candidate should have extensive post-qualification experience and have knowledge and experience of the commercial sector and the challenges of delivering commercial schemes. You will report to a Director, work as part of a wider team as well as working with the project delivery design team and client organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of the entire project
  • Establishing effective processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
  • Producing building surveys and reports.
  • Undertaking condition and dilapidation surveys.
  • Preparing written project communication material.
  • Preparing formal project progress and other reports.
  • Liaising with the client, contractors and designers.
  • Responsible for managing the sub-consultants and Construction Managers.

Skills & Requirements

  • Possess a strong track record of delivering projects.
  • 4-5 years minimum experience, particularly experienced in preparing specifications and condition surveys/acquisition surveys.
  • Be conversant in project delivery.
  • Be familiar with building condition surveys.
  • Have experience of working with design teams.
  • Ideally be professionally qualified in Building Surveying - MRICS, if not over 3 years experience in a similar role

Remuneration

A competitive salary will be offered up to £60,000p/a dependent on experience, car allowance, BUPA, Life insurance, payment of RICS fees, discretionary Bonus and contributory pension, competitive amount of days holiday plus public holiday (plus ability to buy/sell days).
