We're looking for a Permit Coordinator to join our Highways team based in Shrewsbury. Location: Shrewsbury
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: £22k - 27k + 26 days of annual leave + benefits

Responsibilities

As a Permit Coordinator, you'll be responsible for scheduling works, programming works, liaising with Shropshire Local Authority and other neighbouring authorities to effectively programme and permit works. Drive collaboration between all stakeholders and ensure health, safety and well-being are at the highest possible standard.

Your day to day will include:

  • To liaise with both the Planning and Operational elements of the business
  • Permitting all work types across the Shropshire Contract including but not limited to: Minor Works / Surface Dressing/ Resurfacing / Bridges & Structures / White Lining / Traffic Schemes / Street Lighting works / Emergency Works
  • Systems Admin including operational support


    Who are we looking for?

    This role of Permit Coordinator is great for you if you have:
  • NRSWA qualifications
  • Experience in highways works and knowledge of highway network
  • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office Excel, Word
