Site Receptionist/Administrator
Project-based - Surrey
Construction is underway on the expansion of the iconic Shepperton Studios in Surrey, and once complete, it will be one of the largest film and TV studios in the world. Works involve 1 million sq ft of new production accommodation and 17 sound stages. For this project, we are looking to hire a Site Receptionist/ Administrator.
The Site Receptionist will offer a service to ensure that all site administration is kept in an organised and methodical manner whilst complementing the operations of the site team.
What will the role look like?
- Assist where required in any other administrative function for the project/office, for example Health & Safety.
- Complete any additional ad hoc administrative tasks and special projects as requested.
- Deal with external callers and visitors.
- Carry out secretarial tasks as required and directed by the management team.
- Organise and prioritise own workload to provide effective planned support for the project/office.
- Liaise with management and other departments as necessary.
- Respond to email and telephone queries from employees in order to assist them with issues relating to forms and procedures. Refer any complex queries to more experienced members of the team.
- Manage travel arrangements and hotel bookings.
- Organise meetings.
- Issue staff and temporary passes.
What is the experience required for this role?
- Communicates clearly both orally and in writing. Shares information and relays instructions.
- Works as One Team Respects and co-operates with the team, sharing problems and accepting support. Adopts a friendly and approachable manner.
- Conscientiously delivers for customers, planning ahead and prioritising own workload.
Full training will be provided and we welcome entry-level and experienced applicants. There may also be an opportunity for completion of an NVQ Level 2/3 in Business Administration, if appropriate.
