Breedon are currently seeking a Plant Administrator to join our Surfacing Solutions business, which covers South Scotland. Working closely with the Plant Manager, the Plant Administrator will assist with general administration duties. Ideally based in our Falkirk office, but there would be opportunity to work out of our Uddingston office if preferred.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the buying/hiring and utilisation of small plant and tools.
  • Financials
  • Purchase orders (plant/vehicle hire, Consumables, PPE)
  • Cost/revenues recharges to jobs/projects
  • Creating reports and spreadsheets using computer software - Reflow/Excel/Word
  • Keeping records of all owned or rented machinery - Asset registers/Maintenance records
  • Overseeing all the official plant paperwork, legal/financial/H&S
  • Dealing with hire companies
