We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Fitter to join our team based at Crime Rigg, Durham. You will carry out repairs on a wide variety of all types of HGV vehicles including, Concrete Mixers, Tippers, Fixed and Mobile Plant and Fabrication.

You must have previous experience as a Fitter in a similar role. You will have a flexible, proactive, and 'hands-on' approach to work with effective communication, problem solving and IT skills. In the role, you will be involved with customers and colleagues at every level in the business and therefore should be able to work confidently and courteously within the team and on your own initiative.

The successful candidate will..

  • Contribute to the preparation and development of Safe Systems of Work for repair procedures
  • Have good organisational and communication skills
  • Have HGV / Plant Fitting experience
  • Have a Full /clean driving licence
  • Have HGV licence (not essential - training may be given to the right candidate)
