Principal Town Planner job in Bristol

I have a Principal Town Planner job available with my client who are a top 25 multi-disciplinary property consultancy. This position is based from their head office in Bristol and offers hybrid working and an extensive benefits package.

This multi-disciplinary consultancy is now looking for a Principal Town Planner to provide planning advice to both public and private sector clients across various sectors such as residential, commercial, education, healthcare, regeneration, energy and retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Managing planning applications and appeals
  • Write high quality reports
  • Liaise and negotiate with planning officers
  • Develop strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Attend external events to create new business contacts and identify new business opportunities
  • Mentor and guide more junior members of the planning team.

Required Skills & Experience

  • MRTPI
  • Strong understanding of the UK planning system
  • Strong reporting skills
  • Experience winning new business/clients.
