We're looking for a SHE Advisor to join our Telecoms teams based in the Worcester and Gloucester areas. Within this role, you can enjoy hybrid working, great progression opportunities, a competitive salary, and even more.

Location: Home and site based in the Worcester and Gloucestershire areas

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Salary: Up to £42k depending on experience plus benefits

We need you to advise Kier's employees on minimising and avoiding risks around their day-to-day work. Nothing is so urgent that we cannot take time to do it safely.

Responsibilities

  • Actively promote Safety, Health and Welfare, leading and setting a good example to other employees and stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the operational teams in carrying out their roles and SHE responsibilities.
  • Assist the operational teams in developing Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work.
  • Conduct regular and robust health and safety Inspections & Audits.
  • Ensure all accidents, incidents and near misses are reported quickly and are also effectively investigated, contributing to Incident Review Boards and Incident Review Panels.
Who are we looking for?

This role of SHE Advisor is great for you if:

  • Full UK Driving Licence, travel across Gloucestershire is essential in this role
  • NEBOSH Certificate (preferably Construction) or equivalent.
  • Membership of relevant professional institution (e.g. TechIOSH or above).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 14001 and BS OHSAS 18001 Standards.
  • NRSWA awareness.
