We're looking for a Yard Person to join our National Grid Energy Distribution based in Gloucestershire. Within this role, you can enjoy paid annual and sick leave, 24/7 GP service for you and your family, discounts and savings on all essentials and even more.

Location: Haresfield, Gloucestershire

Contract: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: paid weekly, up to an hourly rate of £13ph.

Responsibilities

As a Yard Person, you'll be working within the National Grid Energy Distribution contract, supporting facilities management, maintaining a hazard free and environmentally safe depot, whilst ensuring excellent working relations with key interfacing areas and support functions.


Your day to day will include:

  • Ensuring the depot is maintained to a high standard
  • Safe operation of forklift
  • Assisting with loading & unloading of deliveries/collections to & from the depot
  • Accurate reporting of stock movement including ordering, issues, returns / stock transfers to other locations
What are we looking for?


This role of Yard Person is great for you if:

  • Proven experience in a similar construction delivery depot role
  • CPCS A14 / NPORS N009 card for operating forklift
  • Able to drive / has a valid UK driving licence
  • Demonstrate experience in MSDS storage and manual handling
