We're looking for a Sub Agent to join our Highways team on our A43 project based in Brackley, Northamptonshire. You'll be responsible supporting the Agent to specify, schedule and manage the engineering resources and documentation in order to ensure the technical compliance of the assigned scheme to the design specification and to implement the plan safely, on time, to budget and to the required quality while maximising customers' satisfaction. Salary: up to £45k


Responsibilities

As a Sub Agent, you'll manage the technical compliance of the project to the design specification in order to fulfil the assigned project (or section) safely, on time and to the required quality and budget.

Your day to day will include:
  • support the Site Agent in the planning, management, monitoring and recording of the works with respect to health, safety, quality, cost and programme.
  • support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies and procedures in accordance with Kier and National Highways standards implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence.
  • support the Site Agent with cost management of your project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs and forecasts through commercial awareness.
  • responsible for quality assurance in accordance with the specification including producing and populating inspection test plans.
  • produce a programme to plan, co-ordinate and measure the day-to-day activities in accordance with the overall scheme programme.

Who are we looking for?


This role of Sub Agent is great for you if have:
  • experience working in a similar role within construction / highways industry
  • relevant qualifications - degree level, or equivalent experience
  • working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the ICE
