We are seeking a well organised facilities technician with good communication skills to support our facilities team to ensure FM services across the UK are performing to company, statutory and industry standards.
You would assist with planning and implementation of office moves including equipment and furniture for all of buildings under the LOR portfolio. Carry out regular maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and industry codes.
What will the role look like?
- Ensure that service delivery meets the requirements of performance targets, KPIs and Health & Safety
- Support for all general handyman duties
- Undertake minor works / alterations
- Ensuring equipment is kept clean, in working order and sent for repair where necessary
- Maintenance / repair to joinery
- Maintenance / minor repair to building fabric Ad hoc painting / touching up to properties
- Minor mechanical / electrical repairs
- Minor repair to plumbing systems and clearing blockages
- Gutter & gulley clearance
- (PPM's) Planned Preventative Maintenance jobs assigned
- Ensure all security standards are adhered to and maintained within the facility e.g., fire doors locked, alarms maintained, access control systems
- Ensure that all visitors and sub-contractors are compliant with company standards
- Out of Hours call out (on call)
- Ensure actions from regular facilities inspections are carried out as required.
- Take ownership of facilities requests coming into the department and action accordingly

- Well organised with the ability to prioritise
- Numerate, Literate and accurate
- Uses initiative and completes tasks from start to finish
- Focused on meeting deadlines
