Location: Bridgwater, Somerset.

Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team, supporting the Major Projects team to support the delivery of £40 m package of works on a Nuclear licensed site.
Your day to day will include:
- Commercial responsibility for the delivery of the works from inception to completion including subcontract management, CVR management, change control, forecasting and final accounting.
- You'll administer and enforce business commercial procedures and measure works carried out and reconcile to target cost.
- You'll be responsible for preparing monthly and final applications for payment and subsequent financial management of sub-contract agreements.
- You'll provide assistance, guidance and support to the operational teams in the areas of contract compliance, financial impact decisions and procurement strategy.
This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if:
- You'll have previous experience within construction or civils industry and proven track record of working on NEC contracts with Target Costs.
- You'll have excellent IT skills including the use of Microsoft Business Suite and experience of Coins and Causeway accounting systems.
- You'll be a holder of full and clean UK driving license.
- You'll have a degree in Quantity Surveying or working towards Professional membership is desirable but not essential.
