Position: Financial Controller

Location: Dublin

The Job:

A Vibrant and rapidly expanding Engineering Company are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee all aspects of their finance operations. Based at their Head Office, the successful applicant will be joining a friendly and professional team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for the Finance operations of the business reporting to the Managing Director.

Financial Controller Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports, ensuring the accuracy of information.

  • Prepare monthly cash flow forecast.

  • Financial reports and Project Management

  • Manage annual audit of accounts for the group, liaise with external auditors.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of various accounting records and financial systems are in place.

  • Manage existing finance.

  • Asset reporting/register and depreciation.

  • Effectively managing cash and treasury function, preparing monthly cash flow analysis.

  • Liaising with auditors.

  • Review costings and analysis of various cost centres across the business to ensure the most cost-effective processes are in place.

  • Prepare budgets and ongoing monitoring of same during projects.

  • Prepare annual budget for the Group including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.
