What to expect in this position
- Working with diverse groups, business units and projects to source and produce compelling content to use across multiple communication channels
- Working with Digital Communications Manager to plan, deliver and measure social media content
- Monitor existing social media content and track activity against Laing O'Rourke's competitors.
- Support the team in the redevelopment and ongoing upkeep of the global intranet
- Support Communications Managers in the development of specialist business unit websites and their social media presence
- Working with the team to identify and analyse new digital trends for internal and external communication
- Handling press office media inquiries
What would help you in this role?
- Experience of working in corporate communications
- The ability to manage social media channels, content development and measurement
- Examples of developing engaging content
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Some exposure to video production and editing would be an advantage
- Press office experience or similar
- Initiative and enthusiasm

The role requires travel to sites for gathering content. There are a few locations that can be used as the main office for some advice and support. We offer a good annual salary (to be discussed at the application stage) and a market leading benefits package.
