Net Temps are currently recruiting production operatives in Swadlincote (DE11)

This is a really exciting opportunity to work in rewarding industry for a well known plastics manufacturing company.

  • Location: Swadlincote (DE11 9EU)
  • Job Type: Temp - perm work
  • No CSCS card required
  • Rotational shifts: 5am-1pm/ 1pm-9pm
  • Pay rate £10.78 per hour (£12.08 with holiday pay)

Duties of a production operative include:

  • Manufacturing of moulded components to required specification ensuring customer and quality requirements are met.
  • Ensure production integrity is maintained, quality standards are met and waste is kept to a minimum acceptable level.
  • Monitor, train and develop new recruits in their production skills base and ensure targets are achieved.
  • Highlight, analyse and problem resolve process, equipment or quality problems efficiently with the involvement of appropriate departments to ensure productivity continuity.
  • Check materials to ensure they meet manufacturing specification and that manufactured components are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure moulds are clean and free of defects and tools are returned to tooling location in a satisfactory working condition.
