Our client, one of Ireland's leading Electrical Wholesalers, is currently looking to hire an experienced Operations Manager.

This role will involve working closely with the Branch Managers from the three branches in the Cork area, overseeing the organisational processes and adding improvements to it, assisting other departments with operational queries, implementing policies to improve productivity and efficiency levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Working with Senior Management to develop and implement operational standards, measurement systems and management reporting to support the review and achievement of company strategic and operational objectives.
  • Actively monitor and track performance and KPI's across all business areas and identify/develop corrective actions where needed.
  • Act as a key point of contact for operations queries from Branch Managers in the area with a focus on issue resolution and identifying process improvements.
  • Mentor, motivate and supervise teams across the Cork area to ensure they meet and exceed operational objectives such as financial goals, monthly targets and KPIs.
  • Devise strategies and plans to ensure successful stocktake results in all three branches.
  • Provide solutions that address performance issues in a timely and effective manner

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in a similar role or in a Senior Supply Chain role.
  • Good organisation and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills to deal on a regular basis with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Strong computer skills, MS Office, particularly Excel, Dynamics 365.
