Planning Manager Job in Tiverton, Devon
I have a Planning Manager job available with a regional housebuilder in Tiverton, Devon. This client is open to speaking to Town Planners, Senior Planners, or Planning Managers from a housebuilder, consultancy, or local authority background. On offer is a competitive salary, company car or car allowance and hybrid working.
This regional housebuilder has been established for more than 25 years and build quality new homes across Devon and Cornwall region. As the successful person, you'll be working closely with the land and technical teams on residential development opportunities from 12 units up to 500+ units.
Role & Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications
- Give advice on planning matters
- Assess the land development against the company criteria
- Attend internal and external meetings throughout the planning process
- Keep updated on local and national planning policy changes
- Preparing monthly progress reports
- Work closely with the land and technical teams
- Support the Planning Director
Required Skills & Experience
- Ideally educated to a degree level of a relevant course
- Experienced with planning for volume residential developments ideally
- UK experience from a housebuilder, consultancy or local authority
