Due to continued growth and expansion within our business, we are pleased to be recruiting for an experienced Sign Maker & Fitter to join our team at Cennox Signage and Construction. We are located in London SE27 and work normal office hours Monday to Friday 8:00 till 16:30.
Operating 50/50 from our workshops or on site at our customers premises, mostly within the City of London or West End, we are looking for an experienced and skilled sign maker and fitter who has worked with vinyl and digital printing both at manufacturing and installation level. The successful candidate will be converse with our industry, have worked previously making and installing a wide range of signage within all aspects of our trade.
You will need to have used plotters, large format printers and laminators as well as general day to day hand tools. You will need to interpret briefs accurately and have a strong understanding of signage techniques. Installations will be carried out using power tools and access equipment so you must be familiar with these and have a good working knowledge of health and safety. The successful candidate will be required to print, cut, and laminate vinyl and use sign lab to carry out day to day tasks. At Cennox we use a variety of substrates, including window graphics, digital wall coverings, panel and fabricated signs and we are looking for someone who has worked with some or more of these. We don't want to just take your word for it so do show us some examples of projects you have worked on.
As this role requires work on customer sites you must hold a UK driving licence with no more than 3pts for company insurance, have a good work ethic and be an excellent communicator. At time you will be working on your own, so you must be comfortable with this as well as being part of a team.
