We're looking for a Control Centre Supervisor to join our Highways team based in London. Location: Blackwall Tunnel, East London
Contract: Permanent, Fulltime
Salary: Up to £32k + 26 days of annual leave + Benefits

Responsibilities

As a Control Centre Supervisor, you'll be working within the control centre team, supporting them with the incident response service via a 24-hour service control centre providing support to our London contracts including HMPF (Highways Maintenance Project Framework) and TaPS (Tunnels and Pump Stations) for our Client TfL.

Your day to day will include:
  • Running of the London control centre rota, managing performance of team members with line management duties
  • Interpreting geographical information using GIS tools, liaising with deployed resources to ensure additional support is correctly identified and provided
  • Manning a 24/7 365 days a year Control Centre on a shift based rota (days and nights) acting as first point of contact for the business and being responsible for ensuring that the appropriate course of action is taken for each issue reported
  • Prioritising incoming calls/demands & make appropriate decisions, handling telephone calls from the police and local authorities relating to incidents on the network, deploying and managing resources for incidents, monitoring incident support unit whereabouts, maintaining contact with the TfL network management control centre during an incident
  • Obtaining and recording of customer third party details regarding incidents on the network, populating spreadsheets in support of daily report requirements, updating and finalising incident logs as necessary
