Site Manager (24 Month FTC) Job in Hemel Hempstead
Site Manager job in Hemel Hempstead with one of the UK largest timber companies covering a national housebuilder development on a 24-month FTC. This role is offering a salary of £50,000 + 32 days holiday.
Our client work on 350 live projects a year and currently employ over 1,500 people across the UK. They are looking to speak to candidates with a joinery background and timber-frame erect experience.
Role & Responsibilities
- Reporting into the Contracts Manager, you will have responsibility to ensure sites meet pre-agreed standards of health & safety
- You will also ensure that works meet customer service and construction standards whilst staying in line with the build programme meeting budget
- Achieve and maintain onsite visits to ensure all operatives have been inducted and Sub-Contracts are being managed
- Attend site meetings when required to ensure all progress/variances are reported and copied to relevant parties
- Keep track on all site works including scaffold, slab and crane lift plans. Ensure that these works are delivered to agreed standards
- Maintain all quality standards to guarantee client handover falls in line with pre agreed contract specification
- Document all snagging elements and make sure these have been addressed prior to handover.
Required Skills & Experience
- CSCS Card
- Joinery background
- Timber frame experience is essential
- Full UK Driving license.
