Managing Quantity Surveyor

Location: Coldharbour Depot - at least three days per week onsite
Contract: Permanent - flexible and part-time hours available if desired, just let us know.

Responsibilities
As a Managing Quantity Surveyor, your primary function is to increase value, reduce cost, drive profit and manage risk in a safe and ethical manner.
Your day to day will include:
- line management, induction and integration of new team members
- ensure cash flow is maximised including ensuring payments are received on time
- identify and implement cost saving wherever possible
- ensure accurate cost capture and robust application process
- provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the management team. Help ensure that business targets are exceeded
- Implementation and compliance with the contract change control procedure and monitoring thereof including notices to client as appropriate
- managing sub-contractors including sending out enquiries, collating prices, comparing with tender, negotiation, order placement, agreement of account and payment
This role of Managing Quantity Surveyor is great for you if have:
- experience of NEC contracts
- educated to degree level, or equivalent experience
- experience within a similar role, including line management experience
- full UK driving licence
