Are you a Quality Inspector based in the Coventry who is looking for a new challenge? If so, I have the perfect opportunity for you to join a progressive Coventry engineering and manufacturing organisation.
This Engineering/Manufacturing company produce Aerospace components and are specialists in turning, milling, grinding and rolling.
The Inspector will be responsible for:.
- Inspection of parts where required in line with company policies, procedures and documentation such as engineering drawings, and inspection control plans.
- Ability to use inspection equipment including callipers, micrometres, OGP, CMM
- Traditional manual inspections
- Work with QE's and Production Incident team to support product disposition
- Work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing and Operational teams to eliminate any barriers that may affect the quality.
- Quality systems experience in ISO9001 / AS9100 / QS9000
- Key customer requirements knowledge, Rolls-Royce, Rolls-Royce CS, Meggitt, SAFRAN, BAE Systems
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing GD&T
Required experience:
- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment in essential.
- Have served a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent level 3 qualification in inspection..
- Conversant with Quality procedures and with inspection techniques.
- Have previous CMM Experience is desirable.
Shifts:
- Monday - Thursday
- 16:00 - 02:00
