Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a private equity backed manufacturing business based in the Warwickshire area as they seek to appoint a Financial Controller on an interim basis for 6 months.
The business in question is undergoing a turn-around program and requires an experienced finance professional (ACA/ACCA/ACMA/QBE) to provide support on not only with BAU accounting activities but also ad hoc analysis projects developing tangible MI for senior management.
Our client is offering a daily rate of £300.00 to £350.00 (umbrella/ltd) for the right candidate and an immediate start with hybrid working (three days in the office and two at home).
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts, including cash flow and working capital management; this will include presenting to the CFO; and the senior exec team.
- Preparation of, and commentary on, monthly management accounts.
- Ownership of balance sheet and all reconciliations.
- Assisting the Company tax advisor as required, particularly regarding the preparation of the annual R&D Tax Credits claim.
- Year-end audit planning / general auditor relationship management.
- Key contact and lead for internal stock takes.
- Manage the AR / AP teams and seek to improve processes.
- Management and ownership of Fixed Assets
