Location: Brixworth, Northamptonshire
Contract: Full time, part time and flexible
Responsibilities
As Bridge Engineer you'll be working within the bridge and highway structures team, supporting them with the design and inspection function, ensuring key business targets and KPIs are met.
Your day to day will include:
- Carrying out principal and general bridge inspections utilising BridgeStation
- Designing and implementing bridges and highway structures schemes to specification, budget and agreed targets
- Liaising with key stakeholders and multi-disciplinary teams within Kier
- Promoting innovation and sustainability in design
This role of Bridge Engineer is great for you if you can:
- Show an industry specific HNC or degree (Civil Engineering) as well as relevant work experience, be an Engineering Technician or working towards Incorporated Engineer
- Demonstrate principal inspection experience to CS450 including report writing and developing maintenance works packag
- Be working towards or accredited with BICS, ADEPT or equivalent
