The Office Manager is crucial to the smooth running of the company, it requires a very broad skill set to meet a wide variety of duties and demands, such as bookkeeping, organising emails, working with the directors, liaising with clients and customers and administrative tasks management.

They must ensure that the company processes, procedures, policies, and other standards are understood and followed by all staff. The basic requirements for the role will be organisational/time-management skills, and discipline. Significant experience in accounts and office management will be essential. Ideal candidate will be very organised, highly efficient, reliable and have high attention to detail Positivity, team spirit, dedication and excellent work ethic are also crucial. They will also be responsible for the procurement and quality controls within the business. It would be ideal if the candidate had an energy broker background or experience working in the energy industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping
    * Handling accounts payable and receivable
    * Prepare financial statements
    * Managing holiday accrual
    * Managing and monitoring office budgets
    * Maintaining office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems
    * Organising meetings and managing meeting schedule
    * Provide induction to new employees and visitors
    * Maintaining office policies and procedures
    * Data responsibilities, including GDPR.
    * Assisting the Directors with HR, training, staff appraisal and recruitment
    * Procurement of items
    * Reception duties i.e. answering calls, emails, and letters
    * Range of computing skills including Word, Excel, Databases,
    * Middle management experience


Full driving licence is required
Background in Energy or renewable systems.
Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year Schedule
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
