Gleeson Recruitment Group are supporting a well-established Warwickshire based privately owned manufacturing business with an urgent requirement for an immediately available Interim Financial Reporting Manager.
The business in question is widely considered as a market leader and seeks to continue their journey of impressive double-digit growth. The organisation is also undergoing a sustained period of change & transformation and as a result requires additional specialist resource.
This position offers a hybrid & flexible working routine, with a daily rate of £350.00 to £450.00 (outside IR35) and a minimum contract length of 6 months (potential of extension).
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
- Work closely with the Finance Team to ensure the Full Trial Balances for the year end represent the business's assessment of their performance and financial position as at the reporting date. Taking into consideration:
- Brought forward balances from prior years.
- Consolidation adjustments.
- Recommendations from previous Audit Findings Reports
- Co-ordinate the completion and submission of audit requests ensuring the requests are fulfilled by the given deadlines.
- Prepare reports and analysis to fulfil audit requests assigned to themselves.
- Undertake quality control on audit request submissions.
- Proactively ensure that the organisations audit firm are scoping their work sufficiently to meet their end objectives.
- Review draft statutory accounts to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
