We're looking for a MEICA Operations Manager to join our team based in the Devon region. You can enjoy partial remote working, progression opportunities, company car or cash allowance and even more!

Location: To be based at Hatherleigh offices, with mixture of home working and travel to sites/ offices.

Contract: Permanent, full time - flexible/ part time hours may be available if desired, just let us know and we'll do our best to support you

Responsibilities

Kier Utilities brings the built environment to life, keeping people and businesses connected.

To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive, passionate, and engaging approach and have a focus on supporting and implementing continuous improvement.

In this role you will report to the General Manager, you will be working on our South West Water framework, and as Operations Manager for MEICA Reactive and it will be your responsibility to oversee the management of operational activities to ensure work is delivered safely with sufficient resource and to a high standard

Your day to day will include:

  • Liaison with key members of the client organisation to ensure relationships are maintained and service requirements are achieved.
  • Supporting Project Managers and Project Engineers with their day-to-day activities
  • Continual assessment of resource including supply chain to ensure optimal capability to meet service requirements.
  • Monitoring compliance with contract processes and procedures to ensure people are put to work safely
  • Provide line management duties to key staff members within your team.
  • Operational Management of the Hatherleigh Depot.
Who are we looking for?

This role of Operations Manager is great for you if you hold:

  • Demonstrable experience of management within the water/ electrical/ mechanical industry on the NEC suite of contracts
  • Technical knowledge and experience of MEICA techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also under own initiative
  • A Full Driving Licence
  • SMSTS, CSCS & Clean Water Card
