Project Interior Designer Job in Philadelphia, PA

New opportunity for a Project Interior Designer to a join full-cycle commercial architecture and design firm based in Philadelphia, PA. The practice provides strategic guidance and creative design solutions for clients all across the globe and is now looking to hire an experienced Project Interior Designer with a background in corporate interiors, offering a competitive salary in the region of $90,000 plus hybrid working, and more!

With a rich heritage within the architecture and design sector, our client has been established for over four decades and now operates with circa 125 staff across three offices throughout the USA. With a specialist focus on corporate interior projects, this role will see you work alongside a team of around 15 with the opportunity to take on a large client account and exposure to projects of varying sizes across the USA. Revit skills are required and NCIDQ certification would be highly advantageous.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Work alongside senior designers and project managers across all stages of design
  • Establish feasible designs with practical solutions and alignment with client briefs
  • Assist in the development and delivery of presentation documents and contracts across all phases
  • Client-facing responsibilities, including site visits and involvement in presentations
  • Coordination with the internal teams and external consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Produce technical drawings in Revit, AutoCAD, and SketchUp
  • Assist with the mentoring of more junior members of the team from time to time.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7+ years of industry experience, primarily within corporate interiors
  • Degree qualified in interior design or similar
  • Proficiency in Revit; ideally experienced with AutoCAD, 3Ds Max, SketchUp, and Photoshop
  • Strong communication and project management skills
  • Able to commute to the office in Philadelphia when required
  • NCIDQ certification, desirable.
