Protocol is working closely with a college in the Scunthorpe area, in their search for a Welding and Fabrication Assessor.

In position your role is to conduct work-based assessment and support candidates who are approaching endpoint assessment for their welding qualification. It is primarily based in Scunthorpe however there may be some involvement with our employers across the provision.

You will be required to to work with apprentices throughout their apprenticeship, delivering theory and practical training at the British Steel Site and conducting on site observations for the NVQ 2/3 in Welding and Fabrication.

This is a permanent position with full time and part time hours available.

The salary is £27,753 to £36,189 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience).

The person & qualifications
- Has an assessors qualification.
- Has experience assessing.
- Has good knowledge of general welding practices.
- Has a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one).
