Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a leading Housing Association in the North London area who are looking for a brand new Ventilation Contract Manager to join their team covering Planned and Reactive works within North London.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Managing heat recovery, central extract, including all aspects servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Acting as technical advisor for clients and customers.
  • Overseeing method statements, risk assessments and site-specific safety regulations that comply with industry policies and regulations.
  • Delivering various projects within the set budget.
  • Working on the procurement, management, and performance of contractors.
  • Liaising with staff, contractors, and stakeholders, resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Reviewing management accounts, forecasting budgets and providing supporting commentary for internal reporting.
  • Responding to complaints and reviewing improvement opportunities to address concerns in the compliance areas.

Key Knowledge and qualifications:

  • A HVAC project management qualification or equivalent
  • Knowledge of heat recovery ventilation and flow rates on duct runs.
  • An ability to analyse and resolve mechanical/technical problems.
  • Knowledge of IEC/BS EN 62305 Lightning Protection Standard.
  • Knowledge of BS EN 795-Requirements and test methods for anchor devices.
  • Knowledge of The Work at Height Regulations 2005.
  • Knowledge of EN1176 Playground equipment standard.
  • Proven contract management skills
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work is essential and to be able to work with colleagues of all levels, both internal and external.
  • The ability to communicate effectively, work under pressure, multitask and maintain high levels of attention to detail.
  • Previous experience of working in Social Housing and/or Local Authority organisation
